Playing around with the idea of combining masculine designs/shapes with feminine themes/colors
Inspired heavily by the Mary Katrantzou Fall 2013 collection And the ridiculousness that is Minas Tirith and the Tree of Gondor.
One day I’ll stop drawing dresses based on The Hobbit but today apparently is not that day It’s always really nice when I have one article of clothing that I can cycle through for a million different outfits. You call it lazy I call it being innovative!! Been kind of into combining old rococo paintings into designs lately. Maybe I’ll go back and redo these later
Also (since I just found out this shit myself like LAST WEEK) when you shop around for tights there will be these things call deniers. The higher the deniers, the thicker it is. So when you see that ADORABLE pair of tights on sale on the Forever21 website and it says “20 deniers” be prepared for it to be basically see through :’(
I have such a crush on baroque clothes right now. I even ended up making my own skirt and shoes combo the other day for the end of the world. In which I cry about how much I love elastic waistband skirts… (can also use this for fully shirred lolita skirts cause God knows I’ve paid enough for those to wear them regularly) First post was here. |
